Tackle Your Feelings is delighted to announce partnerships with Netball New South Wales and Netball Queensland for the next two years, broadening the impact of the program even further into the netball community.
Following successful partnerships with two netball associations in New South Wales – Penrith District and Sutherland Shire – in 2024, the program delivered 18 workshops to more than 300 participants in NSW in 2025.
The partnerships with the netball state bodies will boost the credibility of the program in the sport and make free mental health education more readily available for netball clubs and associations across NSW and Queensland.
“Tackle Your Feelings is delighted to partner with Netball NSW and Netball Queensland to make mental health education available for free to community netball clubs and associations across both states,” Tackle Your Feelings SteerCo Chair (Zurich Australia) Linda Griffin said.
“Our program has had a significant impact on community sporting clubs since 2019 and we’re excited to continue that journey alongside both organisations in netball.”

The partnership with Netball NSW also ensures that Tackle Your Feelings is an inaugural ‘Impact Partner’ of the Netball NSW Foundation, whose key focus is on delivering social impact and inclusion.
“The Netball NSW Foundation is excited to partner with Tackle Your Feelings, strengthening our commitment to ensuring netball is ‘More Than a Game’,” Head of Foundation at Netball NSW Janyne Hogan said.
“Through this partnership, we are supporting the mental wellbeing of communities across our state and empowering them to create inclusive spaces where people can unite.
Netball Queensland COO Glenn Dennis said the partnership with Tackle Your Feelings was a key part of the organisation’s strategy of investing in community netball in the state.
“Netball Queensland is looking forward to partnering with Tackle Your Feelings as we look to prioritise mental health among our community netball clubs and associations across the state,” Dennis said.
“This strategic partnership underlines our investment in growing the game in Queensland, in particular in our regional communities, to ensure we continue to create a safe and inclusive environment for all our members.”
TYF’s Head of Community Impact Dan Mahony said the investment in netball was a key strategic pillar for the program moving into 2026 and 2027.
“Netball clubs are at the centre of so many communities, and we’re thrilled to partner with Netball NSW and Netball Queensland to bring meaningful mental health education directly to them,” Mahony said.
“This is an important step in giving netball players, coaches and volunteers the confidence to support the people around them.”
